Most romance authors are not bored housewives, but women with college degrees. Intelligent women, like pharmacists, doctors, lawyers, teachers, professors, and nurses. who write romance, because the genre celebrates life and love.  We celebrate the diversity and accomplishments of today’s woman by realizing that part of our accomplishments include who and how we love.

Even though we are accomplished and independent doesn’t mean we don’t want to be loved, or to share ourselves.  We’re looking for that "special" someone(s). The one(s), who holds our hand when we’re scared, hugs us tight when we’re sad, and kisses us crazy when we "sizzle."  We’re looking for that someone(s), who will encourage us be ourselves and not want to change who we are as unique and powerful individuals.

If you have never read erotica or an erotic-romance novel, I invite you to do so, now.  I think the experience will be an eye-opener for you.  Maybe you will even join the thousands of people, who claim that erotic-romance changed their lives.

A lot goes into writing "one of those little books."  I spend several months researching data for my stories, and I'm not talking about which sexual position my characters will end up in, although that is fun.    :) 

I like to write about moral and ethical issues that "real" women and men face everyday -- the difficult choices that shape who and what we are as individuals.  I use many subjects besides sex that some people might consider "taboo," like angels, witchcraft, vampires, demons, and religion.  I also like to use horror and suspense elements, as well as non-traditional heroes/heroines, such as, exotic-dancers, and prostitutes...

We're all human... Well, some of us, anyway.  ;) 

We all need love and a little bit of romance.

My stories are not for anyone under the age of 18, or for the faint of heart.  I only ask that you find encouragement, happiness, or even a little, “Honey, let’s send the kids to your mom’s tonight” enthusiasm after you’ve read my work.

Erotic-Romance is about the relationship between two (or more) people and their journey toward finding love and happiness. From my point of view, that journey involves sex. 

My sex scenes are GRAPHIC, as well as the language I use to describe what my characters are feeling and experiencing.  I like to be as true as I can to what I perceive my characters' real lives to be. 

Lets face it, folks, although "slow and easy" can be great, sex is "down and dirty" when the right chemistry sparks between people. 

On a personal note, I am a mother and grandmother, live with a demanding male feline, "the Kitty-Prince," and juggle several hectic schedules.  While I share the "real" world with them, I’d like to share my fantasy world with you through my craft--writing.
